Wedding Night

The wedding ceremony is over and it is now the wedding night. If the flight to the honeymoon destination doesn’t leave until the next day, the newlyweds will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy each other’s company. If the wedding was held in the morning or the afternoon, this still leaves plenty of time before the traditional honeymoon activities that generally occur in the evening. So, what are newlyweds to do on their special night? There are several activities that newlyweds can enjoy if they have some time to kill.

Even if the flight to the honeymoon destination doesn’t leave until the next day, the honeymoon can begin on the wedding night. Many hotels have honeymoon suites that they are willing to rent for one night and being in a new exotic location, even if it is in the same town, can make night magical.

Many hotel honeymoon suites have a Jacuzzi or hot tub located within the room for the couple to relax and unwind, which is what a wedding night is all about. The newlyweds can savor a bottle of wine or champagne while relaxing in the hot tub and talking about the wedding and how much they enjoy each other’s company. This time for relaxation and talking will be greatly appreciated once other activities begin.

If the newlyweds become hungry on their wedding night, they can either stay in the room and order room service or escape to a classy fine dining establishment for a bite to eat. Many cities have numerous fine dining establishments located around the city that have small, intimate, candle-lit tables for two. If the newlyweds have a favorite restaurant that they always go to, such as for the anniversary of their first date or birthdays, then they may choose to go there on this special night.

A wedding night is also a night to begin new traditions for a new marriage, so the newlyweds may prefer to go to a restaurant that they have never been to before. If unsure of what is in the area, the the concierge desk of the hotel will be able to direct you to the fine dining establishments that are nearby and recommend which one they think that you would like the best.
