Unique gift ideas Mother Day do not have to cost a lot of money. In fact, with a little creativity one can have some memorable gifts that any mother will cherish for years.

A Mom is one of the most important people in a child’s life. After all, without a Mom, you wouldn’t even exist, right? So, it is naturally fitting that when the opportunity arises, you do something really special for her for Mother’s Day. Here are some last minute Mothers Day gift ideas and more!

The first idea works best if you have kids. Start by buying a t-shirt, t-shirt paint, some brushes, stencils (optional), baby wipes, newspaper and scrap cardboard. Place the newspaper on the floor (it can be messy). Take the t-shirt, and put cardboard inside. Next, neatly paint a memorable saying on the shirt. Then, paint your kids hands, and have them press them onto the shirt. Clean up. Total cost is about $10.

My second idea is to make a photo t-shirt for Mom. Start by scanning or uploading special photos from a digital camera into your computer (or use some that are already there – many stores can also do this for a nominal charge). Then go to almost any online photo or store website, and order a personalized t-shirt with a cherished photo you uploaded. Takes 2+ weeks and costs about $20.

Other personalized Mothers Day gifts like mugs, posters, and more can be ordered using this same process. Total costs about $20.

The last idea I have is to create a real, hardcover Personalized Photo Book with words. This can be done using the same basic process as in my second idea above. You will have to submit more photos and arrange them yourself online (not difficult, but takes time), and then write supporting text to go along with the pictures. Takes 2+ weeks and costs about $40.
