Top 10 Christian Wedding Songs

The top 10 Christian wedding songs often differ from the run-of-the-mill wedding songs in that there is often a mention of the couple’s shared belief that God has brought them together. Combine that with lyrics describing their commitment and devotion to each other and you have a song perfect for a Christian wedding.

These top 10 Christian wedding songs are not in any particular order of popularity, as what may be chosen by one couple will hold no appeal to another. So you must decide what song best describes the emotion you feel for each other and the hope for your future.

Another song that didn’t make the list of top Christian wedding songs was a song that was popular about 10 years ago; Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle. Although not necessarily a “Christian” song, it has such a beautiful message about a father’s love for his little girl.

When my niece got married the year after that song was filling the airwaves, my brother sang that song at her wedding. There was some speculation among family and friends as to whether he would be able to make it through the song without shedding a tear. He was sure he’d make it, no problem…NOT.

Although the song wasn’t among the top 10 Christian wedding songs for that year, it was definitely a memorable song and contributed to a special moment in my niece’s wedding and made for some good-hearted teasing of my brother.
