First Birthday Invitations

First birthday invitations are both something that you will want to save for later, as well as a great way to make sure that everybody who wants to be involved is there.

One of the most important milestones in any child's life is the first birthday celebration. While your baby will more than likely not remember the actual event, it's always important to make sure that you take plenty of pictures.

One important thing to remember is that even though you would like for all your family members to make it to the first birthday party, not everybody will be able to. This does not mean that you shouldn't send first birthday invitations to the family members who live too far away, however. Most of the people you send the first birthday invitations to will just be happy that you thought of them, even if they can't make it to the event.

For this reason, you should probably make sure that the first birthday party invitations are made so that they will last through the years. That way, if the grandparents or aunts and uncles want to save these invitations for their scrapbooks too, then they can. You may even want to think about adding a picture of your baby to the first birthday invitations as well, which will make them even more special - and be a great way to send out a picture of your child to all of your family members.

While most people choose to write their child's own birthday invitations, and just add a picture in the envelope, you don't have to do this. Instead, you can have the invitations made for you. This is a good idea especially when if you have a lot to send out and you don't want to have to write the details all by hand. Most people find that they can get really nice first birthday invitations and you can even get a photograph added right into the invitation!
