Many businesses send company holiday cards to their employees and customers each holiday season. These cards let the employees know that their employer is thinking about them during this special time of year and the cards remind the customers of the business as well as giving them well wishes for their holidays. There are a few things to remember when choosing the cards to be sure that no one will be offended by the cards.

One thing to remember when choosing proper company holiday cards is that the cards are being sent from a business and not an individual. This means that the cards should be professional in nature and not come off as to familiar to any one person. Another thing to avoid when choosing corporate holiday cards is cards that deal with religion. Unless your company has a religious line of work or is associated with any single religion, there is no way to tell what religion the employees and the customers that will be receiving the cards are. You would not want the holiday cards to offend any person that receives them, so it is best to avoid holiday cards that are religious in tone.

The best company holiday cards are the ones with generic holiday themed designs, such as stars, bells, or snow scenes. This is because these images are neutral and are associated with the winter holiday season, not any one person’s beliefs. Choosing cards with these designs are a safe bet to be acceptable for everyone.

It is also important to carefully choose the message for the company greeting cards. Very specific messages that deal with Christmas or religion should be avoided, but more general messages of well wishes are good. The best messages for the cards would be something along the lines of “Happy Holidays” or “Wishing You A Happy Holiday Season”.

Many companies choose to create their own company holiday cards and have them printed by a greeting card manufacturer.
